Judges whether cited institutes, labs, centers, or city-based resources are named accurately and tied to a concrete intellectual or creative purpose. Reward applicants who identify a resource most tourists would not find and explain the work they would do there.
Revelatory Quality of Lists and Short-Answer Choices
Evaluates whether the applicant's list responses, short answers, and supplemental choices expose a coherent sensibility and a mind with genuine taste. Strong lists create surprise, imply a worldview, and could not plausibly belong to a different applicant.
